Bunzl completes three further acquisitions
Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing Group, today announces that it has completed three further acquisitions.
The Company has acquired Casa do Epi Ltda in Brazil. Operating from a facility in the state of Minas Gerais with a sales office in São Paulo, the business is principally engaged in the sale of a wide range of personal protection equipment to end user customers in the mining, construction and manufacturing sectors. Revenue in the year ended 31 December 2014 was R$83.2 million (c.£14 million).
Bunzl has also acquired the businesses of Cemelim in Barcelona, Spain and ICB Cleaning Supplies in Auckland, New Zealand which are both distributors of cleaning and hygiene supplies. The aggregate annualised revenue of both businesses is approximately £5 million.
Commenting on the acquisitions, Michael Roney, Chief Executive of Bunzl, said:

The business has an excellent reputation and a broad customer base and will strengthen our market position in the state of Minas Gerais while Cemelim and ICB will add further scale to our cleaning and hygiene supplies businesses in Spain and New Zealand respectively.
